Droning On In Cirencester Park - Drone Pilot Cirencester

Most of my day today was spent working as a drone pilot in Cirencester for BBC Points West.


I was filming in Cirencester Park with Pam Caulfield and the story was about the disease that has got into some of the horse chestnut trees, many are over 200 years old. The trees that are infected will be removed this September.


I flew the drone getting a range of shots up in the tree canopy of the disease which were only achievable with a drone. I was assisted by Stuart Harrison, a local Photographer. Stuart acted as my spotter and helped with crowd control.
