Live From The Living Rainforest - ITV News

This week I worked on a special COP26 outside broadcast for ITV News Meridian at The Living Rainforest in Berkshire.

The thirty minute broadcast brought together four cameras and cameramen including another freelancer and I.

TV legend and Meridian News anchor Fred Dinenage presented alongside Sangeeta Bhabra.

As the broadcast was at night I had to use all four of my main lights to compliment the ones owned by ITV. I used my Aputure 300d as the main key light with a large softbox, this gave a nice soft light to the presenters.

The main issue was letting all the equipment and cameras acclimatise to the environment. My camera took nearly two hours to adjust its temperature to the hot house.

You can watch the whole broadcast below.
