Every freelance News Camera Operator knows that "the call" comes when you least expect it.
Yesterday I was in the middle of turning my kit around from a large corporate job and dinner was in the oven when the call came from ITV West Country.
Just over an hour later, and after a very swift Sweet and Sour, I was outside Charley Rowley's house in Amesbury.
Working along side Charlotte Gay we interviewed former Chemical Weapons Inspector Jerry Smith feeding the images live to London via LiveU.
Then we door knocked for some vox pops and fed those back via LiveU in real time.
Finally we drove into Amesbury to grab a couple of other voxes before I left site at 10pm.
