Yesterday I was filming in Porlock for BBC Point West filming a story about saving their small fire station.
The station also provides quick response first aid and feelings were very high in the village at the talk of it being removed.
I spent about 6 hours on site on the hottest day of the year working with the Journalist filming and then editing the video below. Fingers crossed the station will be saved as it does seem a very necessary lifeline for the community.
UPDATE: JANUARY 2020. Dorset Fire and Rescue have announced that the fire station at Porlock will remain open.
