This morning I was fortunate enough to film the Summer Solstice at Stonehenge for the second time.
In 2017 I was filming for ITV 'This Morning' but this year I was with Pam Caulfield and BBC Points West.
We arrived at approximately midnight as parking is a nightmare and then waited as the site filled up. Filming started at 3am and we captured many interviews and night time shots before setting up for the arrival of the sun into the longest day of the year.
The site was heaving and getting a good position was tricky but we managed and I filmed the sunrise.
Not long after that I set up for a live shot for BBC Breakfast before editing some of the footage and sending back from my van.
A great day was had by everyone and I look forward to covering the event again.
