Today I was filming close to home, a lovely story about two Ukrainian sisters and their mother who are passionate about ice skating.
The job was for the BBC at the Swindon ice rink and Will Glennon was the journalist. I gave my Osmo Pocket gimbal to one of the coaches who very kindly captured some great moving shots on the ice. No way I was going to try that !!
They train at the centre five times a week, twice a day. Tatiana (in blue) is nearly eight years old and her sister Anna is six. They were both competing in the Ukraine but had to flee after the Russian invasion.
The link centre have provided them with free access and coaching. Former British skating champions Zoe Jones and Christopher Boyadji are giving them expert tuition.
